After an arduous hike from Smuggler's Notch to one of the surrounding peaks, I sat on a rock and looked over the notch and watched the sun slowly fall behind Mt Mansfield. It was a warm summer's day, even at high elevation. I ate my packed lunch and just soaked in my surroundings.
This is an HDR image (multiple exposures combined into one image). The sky was much brighter than the valley, ski trails, etc, so no single image could capture the full tonal range of the scene. HDR is a method of making up for the limitation of the camera in order to present the scene as the our eyes can see it.
Unless specified otherwise, all metal prints come with a 3/4" wall float mount. It is an elegant means of displaying metal prints with absolutely no frame needed.
