Sometimes it really pays off to get up for a sunrise on a frigid winter morning. Sometimes it's really helpful when that sunrise happens after 7am. When
the air temps are significantly lower than the water temp, I have a spot I like to go to for sunrise. It affords me a view of the misty water on Shelburne Bay and the sun rising over the
Green Mountains. Camel's Hump in particular looks nice from that spot.
In Dec of 2018 I made my way in the predawn light to the peninsula that carves Shelburne Bay out of Lake Champlain. There I set up for both telephoto shots and wide angle shots. With
the magnificent clouds and colors, wide turned out to be the best that day.
Although the 4 deg air might have contributed to a rather nasty cold I came down with the following day... this trip was totally worth the effort and I'm very happy with the image I gained from
it.
Unless specified otherwise, all metal prints come with a 3/4" wall float mount. It is an elegant means of displaying metal prints with absolutely no frame needed.
