All photos in this Visual Quilt are of a dirt driveway in the early Springtime. Or as we in VT call it, "Mud Season"! The snow and ice were melting and
the hard mud was thawing. Gasoline that had dripped from various parked vehicles and frozen in the packed down snow, was released by the melting snow and mixed with the ice, mud and water
creating textures and patterns that I was instantly drawn to.
While taking these shots, I certainly got some weird looks from those passing by! Nobody thinks of a dirt driveway as particularly beautiful or interesting. But me, I love finding
beauty in the mundane!
If you have any questions about "Spring Melt" feel free to contact me and I would be happy to assist you! Cheers!
