There are many everyday things that can be beautiful if we take the time to look.  The variety of colors, textures and patterns found in rocks excites and inspires me.  "Rocks 1" was my first venture into this subject matter for a Visual Quilt.  These wonderful examples of rocks are from all over the place:  Road cuts, foundations, the lakeshore, mountain sides, ravines, driveways, etc.  Beauty is all around us.
